I did one, then stopped…but these are going to be regular from now on. I’ve built up a good favourites list on Etsy and want to share my fellow crafters!
This week:
Celentano Woodworks
Handmade, fully functional and intonated instruments!! And the look cool too! I stumbled upon Celentano sometime during a random search on Etsy and fell in love with these pieces. Unfortunately they are pricey, but honestly I couldn’t see her making them any cheaper, handmade comes at a price! The above image is a 3-string cookie tin guitar which goes for $195. This is definitely my favourite as it feels very southern and homely to me. Plus I bet it gets a killer twangy sound.

Second place for favourite items in this shop is a tie between the Apple 4-string ukulele and the 2-string Avocado guitar. I just love it’s slender long neck. They’re $300 and $175 respectively.

I have decided to do a weekly post, every Friday (hence the title), about my favourite crafty people out there. Mostly I’m going to go through my favourites list on Etsy but sometimes I’ll go outside of the box and talk about someone somewhere else.
THIS WEEK I’m debuting with Michael May’s Shop (etsy name erosinc)
His shop opened around the same time as Prints of Thieves and has these gorgeous Fantastic Mr Fox inspired prints, and only for $5!!
I also really like his button pack, it’s based on characters from the online comic “Eros Inc.” And only $4.

So, I recommend czeching (hehe) out Michael May’s shop…he only has a few items listed at the moment, but I’m personally hoping it will grow. The prints especially are really neat!

Took me a while, but I figured out how to use applications on the facebook page! Now you can get all updated info from etsy in one place. I do love it when the internet works.
